At Antina Pte. Ltd. (“Antina”), we respect the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Data (as defined below) and we are committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your Personal Data. “Personal Data” refers to any data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified; (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.

By submitting Personal Data to us, you agree and consent to Antina (including its related corporations), as well as their respective representative and/or agents to collect, use, disclose and share the Personal Data amongst themselves and any relevant third parties in the manner as set out in this Data Protection Policy.

We may from time to time update this Data Protection Policy to ensure that it is consistent with the current legal and regulatory requirements. Accordingly, you agree to be bound by the prevailing terms of this Data Protection Policy as may be updated from time to time at www.antina.com.sg (“Our Website”).

How We Collect Your Personal Data

We collect your Personal Data in the following ways:

  • When you visit Our Website and leave behind your contact information;
  • When you communicate with us via emails or written correspondences;
  • When you submit your CV and job application form to us in response to our recruitment advertisements on Our Website; and
  • When you submit your CV to recruitment firms or job portals, which are in turn forwarded to or retrieved by us.

If you provide us with any Personal Data relating to a third party, you represent to us that you have obtained the consent of such third party to provide us with their Personal Data for the purposes set out in this Data Protection Policy.

You also represent to us that all Personal Data, whether relating to you or a third party, provided to us is complete, accurate, true and correct.

Types of Personal Data We Collect About You

The types of Personal Data we collect may include:

  • Your full name, e-mail address, mobile phone number or any other such related information; or
  • Other details (where relevant) when applying for a job vacancy: nationality, marital status, languages spoken or written; professional and work experience (job title, occupation, employment history, work experience, curriculum vitae; education and professional qualifications, schools attended, academic transcripts, membership of professional bodies).

How We Use Your Personal Data

We use the Personal Data we have collected for one or more of the following purposes:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Process job applications, recruitment and selection;
  • Carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us; and/or
  • Comply with our legal obligations and regulatory requirements.

Who We Disclose Your Personal Data To

Personal Data may be disclosed for the abovementioned purposes or for any purpose allowed under any applicable law or regulations, to the following parties outside of Antina:

  • Our professional advisors (e.g. auditors, lawyers, consultants); 
  • Insurance companies; 
  • IT related service providers; 
  • HR related service providers; 
  • Recruitment agencies, head hunters; 
  • Other government agencies (e.g. Ministry of Manpower).

We will use our best endeavours to ensure that the Personal Data is protected by such third parties. In the event that such disclosure involves transfer of the Personal data outside of Singapore, a standard of protection that is comparable to that under this Data Protection Policy will be provided.

However, you understand that the transmission of any information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will use our best endeavours to protect the Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of the Personal Data transmitted to or from our websites or email. Additionally, we cannot assume responsibility for any unauthorised use of the Personal Data by third parties which are wholly attributable to factors beyond our control.

Accordingly, you acknowledge, agree and accept that the transmission of any Personal Data to us shall be entirely at your own risk.

How We Manage the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Deemed Consent

Subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”), you are deemed to have given your consent to us for the collection, use and disclosure of the Personal Data when you voluntarily provide the Personal Data to us for a particular purpose, and it is reasonable for you to have provided the Personal Data to us in the circumstances.

Third-Party Consent

If you are disclosing the personal data of another third-party individual, you must first obtain consent from that individual in order for us to collect, use or disclose his/her Personal Data.

Withdrawal of Consent

If you wish to withdraw consent, you should give us reasonable advance notice. You must be aware, though, of the likely consequences of your withdrawal of consent, e.g. without your personal contact information we may not be able to contact you or respond to your request. Your request for withdrawal of consent can take the form of an email to our Data Protection Officer (“DPO”).

How You Can Access and Make Correction to Your Personal Data

You may email us to request access to your Personal Data up to the past one year and make any corrections if there is any error or omission. However, before we accede to your request, we may need to confirm your identity by performing some verification checks.

We will endeavor to fulfill your request within a reasonable time, with an estimate of the fee for processing the request (if applicable).

How We Ensure the Accuracy of Your Personal Data

We will take reasonable precautions and verification checks to ensure that the Personal Data we have collected from you is reasonably accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, you acknowledge that there may be circumstances where we are entitled to assume such accuracy and completeness, in accordance with the applicable laws.

As such, we encourage you to inform us whenever there are any changes to your Personal Data which you have provided us so as to ensure that such personal data is accurate and complete.

From time to time, we may do a verification exercise with you to update us on any changes to your Personal Data.

How We Protect Your Personal Data

We are committed to protecting your Personal Data, and we will ensure that reasonable security arrangements are in place to protect your Personal Data that is in our possession to prevent unauthorised access, use or disclosure.

How We Retain Your Personal Data

We will not retain any of your Personal Data in our possession when the original purpose has been fulfilled or when it is no longer necessary for any business or legal purposes.

How We Transfer Your Personal Data

If there is a need for us to transfer your Personal Data to another country, we will ensure that the standard of data protection in the recipient country is comparable to that of this Data Protection Policy.
